Set in Stone: Frazier Peters' Stone Houses
Photo By: Pam Rouleau/ Rouleau Photographics
There are at least a half-dozen Frazier Peters' homes in Wilton. Those familiar with his early 20th century Connecticut architect and his work may be surprised to discover that his stone houses are inherently "green." In many ways, they are on the leading edge of the trend away from big box McMansions towards homes built on a more human scale, with more charm, details, and energy-sufficient features.

The Schoolhouse, tucked away in Cannondale Village in an historic New England schoolhouse, is a gem of a restaurant that opened over a year ago. Boomer Bands Take The Stage
By day, they're ordinary people, raising families and doing the 9-5 drill. But several nights a week, they pick up their instruments, take to the stage and cut loose to preform the music they never stopped loving, but by necessity, took a backseat to family and day jobs for a time. The members of these local "boomer bands" are more than just part of a national trend, they're proof that passions don't die, and that there are some amazingly talented musicians posing as fathers, mothers, husbands, and wives out there in the 'burbs.
The Honorable Decades: Wiltonians in Their 70s, 80s and 90s
Their children are grown, and their lives no longer revolve around pre-school picnics, fifth grade band concerts, soccer games, PTA meetings or college applications. Instead, they face a new set of challenges-managing their health, keeping their home, finding stimulating activities and maintaining connections with friends and the community at large. They are Wilton residents who are now in their late 60s and beyond. A diverse group, they have contributed much to the town and are an important part of its fabric. Lois Alcosser takes a look at those living in what she calls "The Honorable Decades"

Most adults reach a point in their lives when they take stock. When they do, inevitably some realize the career path they started on isn't the one they want to end on. Twelve Months

For many couples, the inability to conceive, once they decide to begin a family, comes as a complete surprise. Certainly it was for Wilton resident Christine Baer, who failing to become pregnant, found herself on a lengthy, sometimes arduous and uncomfortable road through the infertility clinic process. Her moving account offers a glimpse into that world.
